Will turned 1 on Sunday and we celebrated with a big party with lots of people, gifts, and cake. We can’t believe how fast this year flew by and are very proud parents. Will sure has grown a lot this past year. We miss our “baby” Will, but look forward to all the fun that each new day brings. Thanks to everyone for coming to the party and thanks for all the gifts. Will is now 11 months old already! Time is flying by. He is always crawling and standing everywhere. We’ve had to add safety latches in the kitchen. He is up to 6 teeth with more soon to follow. Over the last few weeks, he’s gone to 2 parades, done some swimming, and had his first elephant ear! We’re starting to get ready for his 1st birthday bash on August 12th! New pictures added.
Will enjoyed his first vacation as we went to Hilton Head a couple weeks ago. He really loved swimming in the pool and liked the ocean waves coming at him. Will is now crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to standing all the time. His mohawk is now a couple inches long, and growing every day. Less than 2 months until Will turns one. This last month has been one of firsts for Will. His first tooth has started to grow in on the bottom right. He likes to use it to bite his spoon now. Also, he had his first sleepover last weekend. Chrissy and I went to the horse races one night and Will stayed over at my parents’ house. He slept just fine and celebrated in the morning with waffles. Also, he attended our neighbor’s birthday party. They had a safari theme and Rainforest Rachel was there with some interesting animals. New pictures added. Have a great spring!
A lot has happened since the last post. Will’s first cousin was born and Chrissy and I are Aunt and Uncle. Congrats to Bob and Janelle on the birth of baby Ben! My cousin Payton got married. Gramps got a golf cart and Will went for a ride. Chrissy is taking a cake decorating class and her first cake turned out GREAT! Easter was a busy time this year and the Easter Bunny found Will. New pictures added.
Today was a big day for Will – his first time sledding! He found a small hill off of the 12th green at Grams/Gramps and took a few trips down all by himself. A video can be found in the photo gallery. We added a few more pics of Will with his friend John Geise and his 6 month picture (already!).
We all celebrated a great super bowl win as the Colts beat the Bears to win Super Bowl XLI! Will was the most excited of the three of us. He had a great time at his first Super Bowl party. Will is doing great. He’s almost 6 months old now and is starting to get heavy to carry around. Although if these 0 degree temps keep up, we won’t be carrying him around outside for a long time.
