All is well this week for Chrissy and the baby. We invite all of you to go to http://www.expectnet.com and enter our baby guessing contest. Enter the name “BabyMcComas” in the box on the upper-left part of the page. That will take you to the game to guess the baby’s gender, weight, length, and birth date/time. Less than 3 months until the baby is here!

Baby Room
This weekend Nate's parents came over to help paint the baby's room! We decided to go with a yellow paint and it turned out great. The room is basically ready for the little one to get here.
Then Chrissy’s parents stopped by for the night on their way to Hilton Head and we went to Uno Pizza and Mrs. Curl’s. Today I assembled the baby crib and moved a few things into the room. It’s starting to come together well. Pictures are posted under the Baby Preparations album of the photo gallery.
This week Chrissy moves into the third trimester! About 12 more weeks to go to the due date. The baby is approaching 2.5 pounds and is about 15 inches long now. We’re going to baby preparation classes at the hospital this month. The baby is moving a lot now and sometimes we can feel him backed up against Chrissy’s stomach.

Babymoon
We just got back after a fun week at Nate’s family reunion in Tennessee and our “babymoon” in Charleston, SC. It was fun seeing everyone in Pigeon Forge for the reunion and meeting 2-day old Ethan. Then on to Charleston we went for a few days. Our resort at Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms was really neat and we had a great view from our room at the Boardwalk Inn. Nate enjoyed a round of golf on the picturesque Links course and Chrissy enjoyed a facial and massage. We then went on to Boone Hall Plantation and Patriots Point for some sightseeing.
We are just starting week 27 of the pregnancy and Chrissy is doing great. The baby is really starting to kick harder and more often now. Nate has felt it a few more times as well. It weighs about 2 pounds. In the coming weeks we’ll be painting the baby’s room and getting the furniture ready to go.
