September and October

September and October might be my favorite months! I love the cooler weather and beautiful colors. We have done our fair share of "fall" activities. Will's class went to both an apple orchard and pumpkin patch for two separate filed trips. Sara's class had a field trip to a pumpkin patch too, but she wasn't able to go because she was sick. :(  We took advantage of Will and Sara's two week fall break to take a little family trip to Brown County State Park and Apple Works to get our pumpkins. Last weekend we went to Zoo Boo and we carved our pumpkins today. We are ready for Halloween and baby #3!!!  Check out pictures of our adventures in our album.

August

August this year was action packed! Will turned 6 years old and started kindergarten. Sara started preschool and we took a trip to Holiday World with Nate's parents! We had been trying to go all summer, but it was always too hot! We had a great time and the kids loved it. Check out the album for pictures.

Busy summer!

Summer isn't over yet but Will starts full day kindergarten next Monday, so it is close. We have had a really fun and action packed summer! At the beginning of the summer I made a goal to take the kids to the Children's Museum or Indianapolis Zoo every week that we were in town the whole week. I am happy to say we accomplished our goal! Most trips were to the Children's Museum since it has been so hot this summer but we did make it to the zoo a couple of times.

Other summer activities you will find pictures of in the photo album: T-ball, Father's Day and Nate's birthday,  our annual 4th of July trip to Hobart, IN, a week spent in Fort Wayne for Will to go to Franke Day Camp, and a lot of trips to Nate's Grandparent's pool.

Check out the photo album for pictures!

Hilton Head Island 2012

This summer our family spent a week at Hilton Head Island, SC. We had a great time and while we were on vacation, Will learned to swim!! We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool, hanging out with family and eating ice cream. Check out the photo album for pictures from our trip.

Memorial Day Weekend Camping

We went camping at Pokagon State Park over Memorial Day Weekend. The kids (and adults) had a great time! Will is convinced we need to buy a camper or RV. The weather co-operated and we enjoyed cool nights by the campfire complete with s'mores. We were able to see lots of family and our friends, The Geises. I wish I would have taken more pictures!

New computer = new pictures

Yea! I have a computer I know how to use again! As a result, I know how to update the blog and pictures. If I don't update the blog for this long again, I have no excuse. The photo album has pictures from pretty much all of 2012 up until mid-May. Check out the photo album to see what we have been up to since Christmas. Enjoy!

Sara's big girl room

A week or two before Christmas Sara moved into her "big girl" room! Guess what color it is... PINK!! She really seems to love it and we are all excited for her to have a room big enough to store her toys.

The Fresh Beat Band!

Will and Sara are big fans of Nick Jr.'s Fresh Beat Band. Lucky for us, they came to town for a concert!! Will, Sara, and their 2nd cousin, Isabel, had a great time dancing around to their favorite tunes.

Christmas!!

Check our photo album for pictures from our Holiday adventures. There are pictures of Will's Christmas program, our getaway with Nana and Papa to Brown County State Park, our family Christmas celebrations and some miscellaneous good times. Not included (yet) in pictures but other holiday happenings are Sara moved to her big girl room and Sara is potty trained!!!

Chrissy's reluctant PC to MAC conversion

PhotobucketIt has been too long since the last post of pictures. I am sad to say the reason is because our PC is having giant issues. I'm not sure it is going to make it. Luckily, we seem to have all of our pictures and super important things backed up. I am so reluctant to this change. Surfing the internet and checking my e-mail was one thing but actually using folders and trying to look at photos has been a whole different experience. I am really hoping Nate can revive our other computer. Until then, this is me. Well, not quite this extreme... but really close.
